1/9 MOwens Joanne replied back today but it was too late to get the tech onsite this afternoon. I replied back asking if next Friday 1/16 would work as this would be the first available date next week to schedule. She replied back that will be fine with her.
1/8 MOwens Sent email to Armand and Joanne Hersey about scheduling this repair visit for tomorrow 1/9 if that will work.
🔧Work Performed
01/26/2026 - JWD Located PRO BP 3400 and confirmed the issue. The unit was not powering up when plugged in or the battery light wasn't on. Replaced the battery from my hero kit with part # BATT 11. Once i installed the new battery the light came on but still not powering up. I contacted Derek Reynolds in L2 and he suggested to leave the battery in for at least five hours to see if the unit will powerup. I notified the POC Joanne Hersey (Center Administrator) and gave her the status which is the unit has damage on the bottom right and left of the outer shell and also that I changed out the battery to leave it plugged in for about 5 hours to see if the unit will power up. I told her I would contact her later to see if the unit powers up. If not I explained to her that our L2 technician suggested that the unit probably needs to be replaced with the damage and possible repairs will need to be done to the screen. I also suggested to her to maybe get a refurbished unit from Welch Allyn which would cost the same to repair the unit. Also this series PRO PB will no longer be produced
