🔧Work Performed
On the 6390, I removed the transfer from the truck and made access to anchor. I then removed the trolly and set the trolly on the table. I removed the anchor from the floor of the truck. I then removed the middle anchor plunger assembled and removed the bent anchor pin from the assembly. I then installed a new anchor pin. I reassembled the anchor and put the anchor plunger back into the anchor. I then removed the bronze bearing and installed a new bronze bearing and I also replaced the spring ramp. I then mounted the anchor back to the floor of the ambulance. I grabbed the transfer and removed the transfer lock plates and the override slides. I installed new transfer lock plates and the new override slides. I then removed the trolly stop ram from the trolly and installed a new trolly stop ramp. I installed the Powerload back into the ambulance. I then loaded the cot into the Powerload and Loaded the Powerload into the truck. The Powerload was smooth. I then pulled the Powerload back out of the truck and unloaded the cot. The Powerload was working smoothly. I function tested the unit and all passed. I returned the unit to service.
🔍Technician Findings
On the 6390, I arrived and found that the Powerload was struggling to come out and be put back into the truck. I then found that the two Transfer lock triggers were sticking and hard to move. I then found that the Transfer lock override slides were getting stuck on the transfer lock plates. I then found that the anchor pin was bent. I also found that the trolly stop ramp was worn.
