Upon arrival, I verified the customer's report of a temperature discrepancy and confirmed the unit was displaying a reading approximately 10°F higher than the actual internal temperature. After consulting the service manual, I determined the display was incorrectly configured to a secondary sensor/reference point. I recalibrated the control settings to the correct temperature input and performed a follow-up check to ensure the display now accurately matches the internal conditions. The unit is now operating within manufacturer specifications, and no further action is required.

The temp of the unit is correct at 40 degrees but the unit thermometer is reading 9 to 10 degrees higher.
