Check Air Pressure: Ensure the dental unit's air pressure is set correctly, as low pressure means less power.
Inspect the Connection: Disconnect and firmly reconnect the handpiece to the airline to rule out loose connections.
Clean the Chuck: Debris can get stuck in the chuck (where the bur goes); wiggle the bur or use a handpiece cleaner spray to dislodge it.
Lubricate & Flush: Apply proper lubrication and run the handpiece (upside down) to flush out internal debris from the air/water lines.
